Frequently Asked Questions

Will you be the DJ on our wedding day?

It’s impossible for me to provide the kind of bespoke service my clients receive by using other DJs. So if you book me then I’ll be your single point of contact from your initial enquiry through to the last song of the night.

Can we meet you to discuss our wedding day?

Absolutely! I encourage all potential clients to meet up for an initial consultation. This is my opportunity to get a feel for your overall wedding day and your chance to decide whether or not we’re a good fit for one another.  If you decide to book me then we’ll meet up again about a month before your big day to plan every last detail of your wedding entertainment.

Can we request the music we want played?

The right blend of music will either make or break your evening reception and I’d encourage you to play an active part in planning the music for your day. When you book me for your wedding, I’ll set you up with your own exclusive, online account. You and your guests will then be able to log-on and request songs, enabling me to tailor the music for your wedding celebration.

How much do you charge?

My service is completely tailored to you so the elements of my service you choose to book will largely determine my fee. My charges reflect the experience, passion and commitment I have to ensure my client’s wedding day is a success. The couples that book me value their wedding entertainment and don’t want to settle for average.

Will my booking be confirmed in writing?

Once you’ve made the decision to book me I’ll send out two copies of your booking form confirming all the details for your event. Simply sign and return one of these along with your deposit. Your booking is then confirmed.

Do you have the necessary Public Liability Insurance and PAT test certificates our venue has requested?

All my electrical equipment is Portable Appliance Tested annually to ensure it is safe. I’m also a member of SEDA (South East DJs Association) which provides me with £10 million worth of full public liability insurance and also employer’s liability insurance. Copies of my certification are available on request.

What happens if you’re taken ill and is unable to perform at my wedding?

In my many years of working, I have never let down a client or been unable to attend their wedding day. Having said that, I could break my leg tomorrow so it’s important I have a contingency plan.  I actively network with other professional DJs who work to the same high standards and can help out in such situations. As a member of SEDA (South East DJs Association), I have a access to a huge number of fellow DJs who can step in for me.

How will you dress for my wedding?

I’ll normally wear a suit and a tie chosen to complement your wedding colour scheme. Unless, of course, your wedding day calls for an alternative dress code such as black tie.

What other services do you offer?

Every wedding day is different and I offer a host of services to help you achieve your dream day. You might simply want to wow your guests with a dazzling starlit dancefloor or elegant mood lighting. You want me to supply music for throughout your wedding day? Not a problem. I am able to coordinate your ceremony music,  provide background music during your wedding breakfast, microphones and PA for speeches and even act as your Master Of Ceremonies for the day.  Check out my additional service page for more information.
